Hey guys, dangerous here from Marketing Secrets for Electricians and today we're going to be looking at headlines and stories and what you can use as creative for ads to help you attract your ideal customer that you can serve. That's the question. Join me and follow along as we search for the answers. So with that said, I've actually created a spreadsheet and what I'm going to use this spreadsheet for is to share ideas and concepts that you can brainstorm to help you come up with ideas, test, and then also test the ideas and see if they actually resonate with people before you go and spend a thousand, two thousand dollars on ads when you're not sure if what you've done is any good. So the basic structure and the number one thing we're going to do is how to get the result without the thing you hate.

So how to do something without getting the result they want. So for example, the one I'm actually testing out now is how to keep your family safe from fire parodies or other electrical mishaps without draining your wallet. So how to get this thing without that. And then so in the last episode, I talked about the three S's and the shock share solution. So the shock would be that headline that you want to shock them, you want to grab their attention.

Now, then we share a story and like 300 plus Australians hospitalise every year and you go into why or 15 are prevented, 15 are killed and this can be preventable. This could be a story or it could be a headline in itself, but I've got it in a story in this one and we're going to actually test that out to see if the audience where you are connects with that. And what else are just doing is just brainstorming your ideas. So how many headlines can you come up with? What what do the customers ask that they're like, I hate this thing or what what do they like?

I like this thing. Can you merge them together? Get a free electrician, not just a free estimate of hope, but an actual free electrical work done for you is a that's another headline I'm testing. It's slightly different. As you say, I'm just brainstorming.

And then you got the story section where it's like, don't risk getting electric electric shock by doing it yourself. If it's cracked damage or smoke to get it replaced, people have died from electrocution by going into their own roof space, roof space. Make sure you turn off the power. This could save your life. And it's a bit more of a story there.

So the idea here is to use the structure. And this is a headline structure that has been working for I don't know how long. But it's a basic structure that I've seen many marketers use how to resolve without the thing you hate doing, how to get all the lights done without doing it yourself, how to keep your power on or how to measure your electricity when you don't know anything about electricity. Like what is your and this is where it comes back to knowing your customer. What does your customer want?

And what is the pain point that they have? So focus on this and build a I suggest building a spreadsheet, a board or just a notepad or whatever you have a place where you can write down your ideas for this type of structure, how to get a result without the thing you hate doing. And then practice. Speaking with customers, talking about customers, listening to customers, you can practice the ads. And I'm going to be sharing with you in the next couple of episodes, I'm going to run some ads for these.

And we're going to see which ads stick, which ads don't, what headlines work, what doesn't work as we go through and we start testing material to see what the user base is actually listening to. So that being said, I'll leave that for this episode. But I want you if you can go out, come up with some ideas of how to result without the thing that they hate doing for your customer base and come into the members area, find electricians marketing secrets for electricians in Facebook, you can go to marketing.com, click on the Facebook group and you can join us to let us know what you've come up with. So with that said, guys, I'll talk to you another time.

a clue, the trade school that I went to, they didn't really help.
